help my air-cons making a tappety noise , i took it to the garage and it had stopped making the noise ( always the way ) just need to know if anyone has had the same problem in the past and how much it cost to repair . the cars a 1995 jap import wrx .

My Subaru SVX (1996) had the same prob,tried regassing/oiling,prob was always intermittent.Only cure was to change the compressor=== very expensive. Mal

 

cheers mal problem is the sound goes after the car has warmed up, but now the air con is not working at all (strange) \

so if i can, might just get it taken out if i can if its gona be to much to replace as i dont use it that much
