Hi I am quite new to this scoobynet BBS but looks fabulous. I now own two imprezas. Is there a club or meets in the North east of england as in Newcastle (Geordie Land) or Sunderland (Mackem Land)
Or if there is any other Subaru owners in the Northeast that might be interested in starting regular meets and club events,

Hey I will go one better and extend the invitation to York and across to Carlisle and lake district and then up as far as Edinburgh. So hope that covers all ofthe areas that might wanna be interested as we got some cracking roads in the region and would be a shame not to arrange a meet or find new friends with similar macchines to make the roads a happier and nicer place

Yeah, you are right, great roads and lots of fun. Got to watch out for the odd sheep that is itching to "cave in" your front end. I am sure I could find an accomodating public house for a pub lunch on the way if you fancy a trip down this way. Mind you, Keilder sounds good as well. Keep in touch.

Hi all just a quick note This great response is definitely a good sign I am so busy with work at the minute \I must appologise for not organising anything yet. I hope you all stay interested and keep up the interest I am currently speaking to Glen at revolutions for a late evening after New Year. I reckon the first meet should be a leisurely run around the Durham area which I think might be quite central to everyone and there is some good roads to find and even better local hospitaliity areas think they might be called services (No my mistake Pubs). I hope you all have a great Xmas and stay safe and A brilliant New Year and if anyone gets a 22b for xmas or any new subaru for xmas we gonna have a brilliant New Year in the group.
P.S. I am also discussing organising a trackday at the wondereful Croft circut near Scotch corner maybe we could get a magazine to come and take pictures and stuff maybe even bring those models to make us drivers look better.
Speak soon and Keep up the good work

Thanks John
I think the interest will still be there in the new year.
Look forward to a run around the Durham area. Should have a few more people on board by then.
Hope everyone has a great xmas. See you all in the new year.

York resident here. The best road in the whole area, I promise, is the Cockayne Loop on the North York Moors, an ex British Rally stage. Done it once behind and experienced EVO owner/racer (you know who you are). Cooked my brakes, scared myself to death (and I was driving myself!!), but had the best drive of my life. It's a PS2 rally stage come to life! Up for it? Sunday 6 Jan 02, 10am? Meet at Helmsley on A170, north of York. Plenty of places for the post-run debrief at Helmsley too. Cheers. Roger
