Help Needed.
I'm looking for some assistance.
Just over a week ago some thieving w4nker came into my house, took my keys and stole my car. I have now got it back, thankfully with no damage, however I've not got the keys back.
Obviously I will need to change all the locks and ignition and get new keys.
My missus phoned Subaru to get a quote for the work and they said well over a grand but the parts guy wasn't there.
I phoned a different Subaru garage this week to get an estimate so I could make a claim on Insurance. However despite about 10 calls this week they've still not managed it.
With this in mind can anyone recommend somewhere I could get the work done that is cheap and has a good reputation? Is this even possible or do I have to go through Subaru direct.
I can't really afford a grand or more and my missus is going out of her head with worry expecting the thieves to come back.
Cheers

Take a lock out of it (presuming you had 1 key fits all) and take it to a Locksmith. They will make a key up to your lock and it will fit them all.
If the car has a transponder, then you will need to get a key from a dealer (robbinsons?), have it cut to match the key the locksmith did for you, then tow the car to the dealer and they will reprogramme the new key and lock all others out. I'd also advise a new alarm too just to be on the safe side.
I can help if you want, just PM me and I'll give you a call when I'm back from the ring on monday
