SMACS/CADS Rolling Road day 10th June, Prosport.
Now smacs/cads/wyioc rolling road day 
After chatting to Little H over on the SIDC forum, we've decided to do a joint rolling road day on:
Saturday 10th June 2006
@ Prosport, Unit 18,
Heaton Mersey Ind Estate
Battersea Road
Heaton Mersey
Stockport
SK4 3EA
Cost will be £40, with £5 going to charity.
The day will start around 9am with 20 runners and 5 reserves. There will be no timings for the day. Once we are all there, then the order of running will be decided. If it's a nice day, we may get the bbq out and throw on a few shrimp

Can I have a place on the reserve list!
But not for the STI, its for Mags's Mini Cooper.
The reason for on the reserve list is because the night before we are at a mates wedding in Hertfordshire (staying over), the we will have to boot it back hopefully make it before the session finishes! I'll have my camera to catch the last few runners.( Paul the jambo do you still want a pic!!)
Might even ask Pete if I can leave the mini at P/sport the day before as we will go to the wedding in the scoob and then on the way back we can go straight to Prosport where the mini will be waiting, save going home first, if you know what I mean.
Be intersesting to see how the mini does, I think its supposed to be 117bhp
for a std mini cooper.

Yes, I would like to have a pic taken on the rollers - even if I get humiliated by everyone elses cars!!
The later I go on the RR the better, to be honest, as my brother would like to come down and observe (I'll be at Prosport from the start btw so if I have to go on, then I will). I think he finishes at 12 on Saturday's.
Having said that he'd like to put his 328ci on the rollers too so would anybody mind if I put him on the reserve list?

Think i'll definately pop down to this and spectate.... not sure there is any point putting a bog standard MY06 WRX on the rollers, hardly an exciting spec (bar the prodrive backbox.. Oooo 
).

Since I bought it I've worked out it's got a TEK1 ECU upgrade and a backbox and that's it. 
It's even got the standard panel air filter. Should be a giggle though. I'm only doing it to get one of Warren's fancy photo's. (<- Not true btw)

I put my std STi on last year just after I got it - I was suprised with the figures.

This bumps our numbers up much closer to the required 20 runners, and will be a great get-together of 3 of the best clubs in the area. Roll on the 10th

I've just found out that England are playing the first game of the world cup at 14:00 on the 10th June. This doesn't effect me, as I don't like football, but I'm sure some of you will be wanting to get away for the kick-off.
What to do? Continue, and cap the number of runners as it is now, with an early start and quick runs, we could be finished in plenty of time.
Cancel and do it some other time?
As I've said, I'm all for it going ahead, as the World Cup holds no interest for me whatsoever
