SMACS car care show us your pics!!!!!
Following Wah`s comments on the products he used from polished bliss. - can we share our ways and means of cleaning (Yes I am sad)
here we go
method currently used until I get the PC
megs gold class shampoo (2 bucket method with megs lambswool wash mit) (yes 2 buckets we do look stupid)
megs claybar with megs detailer (makes your paint as smooth as a babys bottom
megs sratch X (basicly removes swirls etc)
megs body scrub (cleans the crap out of the paint)
megs gold class then spit shined with megs quick detailer - then another coat of gold class (a half decent wax for the price)
on the wheels I use Auto smart wheel cleaner and there dressing to suit - nothing I have ever seen comes close to matching there tyre shine it lasts for ages no matter what the condition!!
the final step is to clean all the glass with Auto Glym cream glass cleaner then apply 2 coats of Rain X to all the glass

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../roofclean.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...closeclean.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...itsmeclean.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../Rearclean.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...frontclean.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...rsideclean.jpg
I even had time to give the Blitz nur spec a going over with some autosol and kettle stainless steel cleaner
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...blitzclean.jpg
Future products once I get the porter cable -
Menzerna intensive polish (which will replace the scratch X)
Blackfire gloss enhanced polish (replaces body scrub)
Blackfire wet diamond all finish paint protection (this is stuff dreams are made of) basicly adds a shine youve never seen before.
come on show us your Pics!!!!! and share some methods
regards

Looking good Pete - just wait until you do the roof with the clay bar - be careful with the turtle wax as it has a high content of clay (which is why your getting white residue) it can be very abrasive. now get that Zorst polished
wax wise well it will depend on choice I would try the nattys blue wax or even go for the blackfire range - Ive not tested these yet but Ive seen good results from them.

This is copied over from the thread in Car Care I did on Saturday :
Well the weather has been kind today so went for it with my new products from Polished Bliss I used everything I ordered except the Menzerna Intensive Polish as I'm waiting until I have enough cash to buy a Porter Cable, so in order I used :
Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds using the two bucket method and lambs wool wash mitt
Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze
Clearkote Carnuba Moose Wax
I used a clay bar for the roof and bonnet only, I forgot to take piccys of the before but believe me it was nothing like it looks in the piccys below

shampoo - £15.00 (2 ltr bottle) does not strip wax
megs clay bar £12.00 (you get the detailer and the clay)
megs scratch x £12.00
megs body scrub £7.00
megs gold class wax £14.00
megs aplicator pads x loads normally about £2.00 each
and the most important bit - ditch the sponge for a lambs wool wash mit £9.00 and use 2 buckets when washing the car - the extra bucket is for rinseing the mitt.
Have a look at polished bliss website for his products - also look at what Si used (Wah) but exchange the Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze and
Clearkote Carnuba Moose Wax for somthing that suits your colour like nattys blue etc but best thing to do is PM polished bliss
the blackfire range is looking ATM but is a bit more expensive then other products.

Excellent site polished bliss, and as mentioned before, I've already purchased some stuff off them. Got the wheel brush and the interior brush a couple of months ago, and well pleased with them.
Here's my wash method, although not how I did it in this film cleaning the car
Rinse the car with the hose first off to loosen any residue
2 buckets now
megs car shampoo in one, clear water in the other.
lambswool mit, start at the roof and all windows
rinse
bonnet, boot and spoiler
rinse
sides down to the knee line and back of boot
rinse
knee line down
rinse then dry with my trusty drying blade
on the wheels I use megs wheel cleaner if they're really dirty, otherwise its a good scrub with the new brush
rinse
Go for a little drive to shift any standing water in the brakes
Got to do the inside of mine tomorrow, and use autoglym fast glass and interior shine for that bit, good stuff.
Just need to work out how to get rid of the swirl marks from the previous owners now.

That's my next trick if anyone want to tell how to do it.
It's taken me long enough to work out how to post my picture's.
(Still taking to me then Andrew)
