SMACS to the NBO
SUNDAY 18th JUNE 2006
THE NORTHERN BIG ONE
I know some of you have already posted up in the main NBO thread, and also on Johnwrx's thread concerning where you meeting and going from in convoy. therefore this thread is to finalise who of the SMACS is actually going, get all the excuses in for all those not attending, and to keep you up to date with how our stand is coming on.
Concerning the plans for the CLUB STAND, you all have email at the address you have given at past meetings, so please check your hotmail accounts and respond.
Please keep all comments about the stand to ourselves though, as we don't want the competition knowing our plans

Dont know anyone in the RAF with a Hercules transporter to parachute your Scooby in though sorry.
You will be gambling with the wind for that as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you managed to keep it in the same condition though? I know ***** uses a host of products, and after chatting to him today, he is making a real go of his hobby atm.

been to see the foos twice now, once at the apollo, and once at the men arena.
apollo was the second best concert I've ever been to, very energetic, seemed very spontanious too. Had a guy make it to the stage from the floor, about to get thrown back by the bouncers, then dave groul stops them, hands him a guitar, and the guy does an excellent guitar solo with dave on the spare drums excellent
men arena was too big for them, and sounded crap, and we were too far away to get any atmosphere
great band.

Bad news regards the NBO, I`m in work, cant get time off as its peak hols time in work too
If anyone needs any info or help prepping their car prior to the show, then pm me.
I`m sure that for a donation to the NBO`s fund will be the way to go.
Gutted I cant make the NBO....

Back to the drawing board then for that section of our stand, I'll have a think this week, and if anyone has any ideas, let me know via pm or email.
