Default NBO PARKING FOR NON SUBARUS

SIMPLE: should non subarus be allowed to park with the subarus on the main field at the nbo?
Should this be upheld by the tts scooby police on the day?

SIMPLE NO they should not be allowed to park with the subaru's, and there is plenty of parking in the lightwater valley car park's which is a very short walk. IMO of course

its a no no for me - but the question will be asked "what about EVO`s" so its a no for them aswel - you cannot have a rule for one and a rule for another.

(scooby`s only for this one IMO)

regards

Justin

if this is going to be kept too, IE, 100% subaru only, then i cant really argue with it, as its the larsgest gathering of subarus.

BUT, it has to be kept to with no exceptions to the rule.

none of this happening.....

2 yellow EVO's and 1 silver FTO for the people that cant see them

cheers

but, the evos are easy to spot as they are yellow, FTO is easier as its closer....

just making my point, im not going to go against the flow so to speak, if thats what people want, then fair enough, but it must be stuck to, no exceptions to the rules...

Cool

As Gussy and Martin have pointed out we are reorgansing the layout of the Field to keep the NBO <vision> fresh and exciting for you all .

I know i have had a couple of enquiries from Club stands about maybe a special sort of car on their stands
Last year there was a Noble that caused a great lot of interest and I wouldnt be surprized with the competion spirit this year if there was something really performance orintated and special to grab attention on some of the club stands .
The trade stands will be allowed any display of their choice ( as long as I like it )

The first year we had a fantastic selection of Evos and 200 BHP group cars parked in the far corner which went down well with people but last year every one can remember the stupid escort with the front bumper hanging off !!!.

It crept in later on in the afternoon when someone had vacated the parking space and our hard working professional team of marshalls were having a rest after working flat out for 5 hours to park 400 ++ scoobys and they did a fantastic job as well.

we hope by relaying the field with club stands that the non scoobys should not be able to sneak in .

A full policy on non scooby parking will come out in a couple of weeks time after the next NBO committee meeting .

#########################

Im enjoying reading the different opinions and banter so keep on posting I think we all still laugh at the OAPs having a picnic ,
I chased away a stroppy Guy with a Jag who did not realise the field was full of scoobys and the silly escort who crashed on the A1 so they put the front end into the boot and drove to the NBO parked up where a scooby had left and put his pride a joy up and pushed the front end onto the car with a log under neath it to support it .

many posts of laughter followed that one.

Such is the great memories we have had from the last 3 NBOs

So why don't the organ-grinders put a sign up saying Subaru Parking Only, any other vehicle found parking in this field without the official NBO sticker will be clamped and a release fee of £50 will be donated to our chosen charity.
Ady.

i don't see a problem with other performance cars parking on the field as long as they aren't mixed in with the scoobs, as we did last year we could put them at the bottom.

after all we are all performance car enthusiasts and i for one like to look a other performance cars too!
