Message as title..

Unfortunately, due to my car being up for MOT, i had to get the exhast off, anyway as usual no job turns out to be easy..

A rounded bolt was all i needed, eventually it came off.

Got the exhaust off, and got the CAT version on, only to find it was blowing..... took it off again, replace both up pipe and down pipe gaskets.... still blowing............. took them off again put new sealant on ....hey presto,


run the car, quiet as, well pleased with myself... then one of the kids says " dad is there meant to be oil under your car - ?? Erm, not 3ft square- no.

So, its back to the drawing board.

I must have disturbed a seal somewhere but i cant find which one....


This saga, has gone on now for 3 weeks ... so im pretty pi$$ed off, as i was hoping for it to be done for this weekends Vauxhauls Charity event.

Im going to have to spend my time on the car...

So i need someone to take over the organisation..... as i cant guarentee being there. If i can get a lift i may be able to show up at some point.

I was holding back to posting, as i thought this weekend gone i wud have sorted it. but not to be.

I can only apologise for dropping out, but nowt more i can do.

i would say yes but cant do it sorry mate, im in between night shifts so cant promise being there myself either.

Ive found the problem, an oil feed pipe has come undone, between the underside of the turbo and the up pipe ............. it looks like a complete **** to get at.

I defo wont be there this weekend ....... Looks like ive got a big job on my hand.
