Is it as good as Optimax though - i'v heard it can be a bit hit or miss where as Optimax is a bit more consistent

http://www.greenergy.com/products/99...locations.html

This is the site that lets you know where and when usually.

Lets not start the fuel debate again. We will all have to suck it and see. If ok will save us a bit of money on the fuel bills.

I for one am looking forward to the smaller fuel bills, if nothing else. I thought buying a newage would lead to better fuel economy, no worse! Or maybe I'm just going faster in this one

I read a report in last months Banzai Japanese Performance Mag comparing all the latest fuels.. (B.P, Optimax, 99Tesco, and regular 95Ron)

And Optimax won hands down for Performance!!!..Im sticking with that I think..

Do you get any lack of performance whilst using the fuel from tesco's as i'm sure you are aware some people are not sure about it.
Is the fuel from tesco 1 higher than optimax ie, optimax being 98RON or are they both 99RON just i've heard that optimax being 98, does this have any difference on the engine if mapped to optimax running the fuel from tesco's.
How much do you pay???? Per litre. Is it much cheaper than optimax as where i am optimax is 94.9p.

Dr.P (and may I say it is an honour to speak to a man of education ), I pay 91.9 for the 99ron at said garage.
As for performance, well I can honestly say that for me it's been consistently good and runs as well as if on optimax for me. If there is a difference I'm not feeling it...
I paid 100.9 p per litre for Optimax at Burtonwood Services last week!! As a result I put £5 worth in to get me about and then went back to Windle Island to fill up... Each to their own though

Spoke to a couple of people down south and its not that good.

I know a fellow who tested it and it was 94.4 ron,

I live in Crewe and will NOT be putting it my STI8.
