Chipsaway????????
Anyone had anything done by them?
I had both wings with stone chips done and now regreting it. Polished car today and only gone and ended up having to use Autoglym fine cut to polish back to original paint work and have also ended up F**kin wing up.
Will have to touch up till get done properly£££££££££££££
Might get full front done later in year.

I nearly did - they took 3 days to come out to view the car (some spoon decided to ram a trolley into my rear door ) it was just a medium ding with slight marks left - they quoted me 145 quid!!!!!! and they would need the car for a few days. and there attitude stank
in the end i used a guy from dent wizard at a cost of 40 quid and he did a cracking job of getting the dint out
sorry rant over now!!
some people say they have done a good job - not suprised the amount they charge!!!!

There is a Chipsaway fella who lives around the corner from me so might go see him.
The mistake I made was letting sister collect and she didn't get a reciept. Not that I would have used him again. £120 cash was the deal.

they cant get rid of stone chips, and if any of them tell you they can, walk away from them. There are plenty of honest ones out there. Al they can do is "blow" paint in the chips, this from a distance looks good, but on close inspection can be seen. The only way to fix chips is for the whole pannle to be re-painted. Its a make do repair.
As for the work done, i had a key mark done which went from the front light to the rear light and i couldnt fault there work at all.
Find a recomended one before getting it done, the paint is good stuff, but it can only be as good as the guy putting it on at the end of the day....
