Haven't missed going abroad at all, thought we would but we've had great weather away and the boys absolutely love it. Helps being right on one of the best beaches on the Island and for some reason it hardly seems to rain of a day, I had one morning in over 3 weeks with a bit of rain and that was it

Got to go over to chester today to chase up issues with our tow bar, it seems the company that fitted it have not wired it all up as things like the anti snaking are not working. Major safety concern if you ask me

Yes i know what you mean jay but for us to go to turkey next year its 4-5k and thats 10 days, this costs us a lot less and we've already had about 9 weeks in total. the kids love it and if they do then were happy

yeah that's the only problem the expense, cost us just over 3k and that was with a subsided child place.
Saying that for us when holidaying in the uk (will be different for you as you have your holiday home), it probably cost us over £1k in accommodation / fuel / trips / food etc for a week at a time
