SMACS - techy advice needed?
Alright chaps.
I'm sure there are some clever people amongst the Smacs lot.
Anyway is there a chance at our next meet i could chat to someone for 5 minutes with regards to setting up a website.
I need to set up a website as i'm starting flogging stuff online - although the site can be quite small 5-8 pages tops it needs to have as really good search engine placement for me to stand a chance in the competative market out there.
Just also need some general advice on how to go about it.
cheers
Carl

Chief, mykp is your man, currently redesigning my botched attempt at our site He may charge you though, and rightly so if it's for a commercial venture
Pm him on here, or chat to him on saturday, he looks like this:

For a good search engine placement you really need to design the site around a good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) policy / framework. Doing this will hugely increase your chance of a good placement.
Ive done this for a few sites, but it was a few years ago now, so may be a little outdated but im sure ill be able to find the documentation for it somewhere that may be of some help?!?!?
