They're seem to be having a splurge with scamera vans at the moment- they are everywhere at the moment.

I have seen at least 4 vans over the last 2 days all seem to be on dual carriage ways, with really low speed limits i.e. 30-40mph so be careful guys.

They need money for their Christams party no doubt!!!!

just for the record, the vans you talk about aint speed cameras. the reason they use low speed area's is so they can catch you quicker if you pop up on the database as "Wanted". the camera's are number plate recogniton only and don't monitor your speed. there on the lookout for people who have no licences, tax , insurance, band drivers drink drivers........there just trying to make the roads a safer place for xmas.

And remember the camera vans (note no 's') are there to catch drivers who are either
A) Incompetent drivers who fail to drive within the law who should therefore be caught and fined.
or
B) Deliberate law breakers - see point A.

So be them mobile speed cameras or vehicle reg checkers, great to hear they're out in force at this time of year reducing the number of n0bs on the roads!!
