Default FMIC is fitted.

I promised pics of the front end so here they are.

Will do one massive thread when i get more pics and everything is sorted over the next few weeks.

Right, this is the car straight off the trailer with nice new engine in it. The bits that are missing are hiding in the shed.

MR Postman then delivers my nice new shiny front mount intercooler.

I set to work, removing the standard top mount intercooler.

Decide to get the core mounted and the drives side pipework done first.

Now its time to get the rest of the pipes in under the bonnet. This was a mission.

Thats it, we are all done, quick test run for a few miles and it appears i have no leaks so the next job is to get the bumper, splitter, lights and grill back on.

All finished, and looking and sounding mean.
Looks a damn sight better then this now................

Evening John

How's the car going? Looking good!
How long did it take you to fit the FMIC, and did you do it alone or with help??

Any comments on lag, performance etc. now you have the FMIC on ?

See ya at the next meet!

Neil

If i had all the bits at the start could have rattled it in in a day easy, had to do 2 trips to tweeks and order a reducer hose so it was over a few days but technically about 5 or 6 hours. Yeps, did it all by myself with a litlle assistance from my friend Mr Dremel
Doesnt seem to be any lag but thats due to the standard ecu being back in while im running the car in. Not able to give it beans as yet until its run in and mapped then i will be able to comment on the difference.
Deffo be out to play at next micklehead aye, you coming the Walton Arms meet today (if your reading this on Thursday) ???
