It's been a while since the last gathering and there's been no stiring in the Scooby fraternity to get another meet together up here in the North East.

So.......

Who's interested in a get together ???

Maybe a meet with a route planned out, or how about a North East Scooby karting Event ??

Seriously though, we're being put to shame up here as I look at all the other regional meets happening and feel somewhat left out.

I know you're out there as a lod of you sprung up when there was a post in the General forum about North East Scoobys.

Spoke with a few companies, now saying 3 months for the bilstien kit. Done a deal for some adjustable GAB suspension in the mean time, just the ride hight is no different and its platforms are not adjustable.

I didn't think the NM6 eas the 30th, i'd be tempted to do a different date, some ppl might want to go to both, i'd go to NM6 if you fancy a look down.

Yep, 30th September sounds good to me..

I was gonna take a trip over to Northern meet 6 but I'll pass on that one for now.

Any ideas of a route ?? I've got a couple in my head but I want somewhere not too far away and central to most people. Not fair on folks from teeside to have to travel further north.

Gotta say it sounds like a very good idea to do the Northern Meet 6 and maybe do a North East bash later on.

I'm sure up for a trip down as there seems to be a lot of interest and I'd like to go on a route that someone else has organised. I know how much you like to do reccy's for route, but we can do that another time.

I'm up for it (or so my girlfriend says). However, a question.

I've been dead lucky lately. I do 30 to 40K a year and in the last two months have twice had the old 'slow down' LED from the rear of a police car at 85-90 with a quick reduction to 70 when I spotted them (one on A1 near Darlington, one on link road Washington to Tyne Tunnel). This makes me cautious. I'm considering track days to get the urge to razz-it-up out of my system as my licence equals income.

On these runs does everyone scream off and do a bit of dog-fighting or is it more like a quick blast and a few cuppas in Alston Cafe? Noddy question I know but I just have visions of a stream of scoobs doing a ton-ten in a line being like an instant promotion ticket for Mr Plod.

Sorry if I sound naive but I prefer to do my tyre shredding on my own yet fancy meeting other enthusiasts. What happens on these meets?

Unfortunatley I'm not gonna be able to make the 30th or have time to arrange any other possible meetings.

My work requires me to go on International Travel between now and Christmas I'm only gonna be in the UK for 4 weeks.

So not Northern Meeting 6, No York Meet .. Arghhh!!!!
