I'm planning on going to Harewood Hill Climb on Sunday 5th August 2001.

All the usual suspects will be present, along with the Ferrari boys as well (I think).

Thought I'd post this and see if anyone else fancies joining me...get a few cars together...park in the same place...make a bit of a show of it???

If we get enough I'll have a word with the organisers and see if we can get a seperate parking area...

Anyway, if anyone is interested....add a reply.

Cheers

Tom

Cool

I get back from hols on the Saturday, depending on how k***kered I feel, I may come along, can't commit though, Harewood is always good for a especially when it's a bit greasy (the road not the Burgers - they're always greasy )

Is Harewood just north of Leeds on the A61? Or is AutoRoute leading me astray again?

Sounds fun. How much is it? Do you just turn up to watch or do you need tickets in advance?

Cheers,

Steve

Yeah, count me in. Wife seems to think that it would be as much fun as food poisoning, but I'll persuade her somehow.

Basically just roll up and pay on the gate...not sure how much it is....probably a little more than five quid....but less than a tenner!!!

Its a great day...especially if its a little wet under foot!!

Would be good to have a few Scoobs present...even if we're not taking part!!!

More details in a wee while

Is this an open invite to everybody?
Being new, I don't want to just turn up and then find I'm not welcome!!

jaycee,

You are more than welcome to come along...just a friendly get together, have a look at the cars, have a chat, have some coffee and greasy burgers and watch the various motors screaming up the hill...

Cool

This is the first time I have looked at this site and was quite pleased to see something happening locally! Is it possible to come to the Harewood Hill Climb & spectate - I have never been to any of the events yet as I am a recent convert!

Regards
Michelle

I'm sure you will get a dozen offers to introduce you to the gang.

Just don't accept them.

I have it pencilled in the diary but can't be certain I'll make it. But I'm sure you will enjoy the day and maybe the company.

Michelle,

Harewood Hill Climb costs circa £5-10 to get in to spectate.

Its a fun morning/afternoon/day...basically I thought I'd mention it to a few people...get some of the Yorkshire folk out of bed early to meet up and have a natter...the added advantage is that we can then have a good look at the various cars running on the hill and equally see them (in some cases) making a mess of the actual run...

Its a tarmac course for competitors only...we will be just watching (other than Black Scooby who is running his Peugeot that weekend)...

Come along and have a good day out...

If you want to discuss it further feel free to drop me an email...or equally email any of the above.

Look forward to seeing you on 5th

Tom

What time is everyone planning to meet up at Harewood?

Hope you don't mind if I tag along. I've only had my MY01 WRX for @ 5 weeks so this will be my first event.

Hi Michelle,

This is going to get confusing!!!! Welcome to the group, ignore the blokes they don't know what they are on about half the time.
So what Impreza have you got then or looking for?

I cannot make this one as I am going to be working nights, if I wake up I will be there if not, next time (as usual)

See you soon,

Michelle (aka Little Miss WRX)

Mellow, with the fake P1

Haven't had much banter lately about your apparent ability to drive, we seem to have more pitched th eabuse Banshi's way
I fancy meeting up on the services, depending on what time, to prove to you that you've bought a modded sport in my lowly WRX

Hehe

See you there hopefully

Michelle.

Hey Michelle don't start throwing down your gauntlets.
After all the other Non-performance enhancing mods he's been throwing money at e.g gauges, cages, extingushers and dials.

He has just added an RS badge.
