Thumbs up

Just wanted to say thanks to all the Northern campers. Didn't make the trip but manage to get to the pub for the GP.

Good to meet the usuals, and also good to finally meet Rich Wild, JohnF, and Boomer.

Clarey - sorry to hear of your "troubles" - hope you are OK and have a hangover today

Craft/Boomer - sorry for "losing" you both on the way back but good to see Boomer got the right turnoff.

DW

PS As you know I was economising with the fuel in the MR2 - Amazingly the whole 85-mile round trip cost me just under £5 in fuel (@ 76p/litre). Thats a whopping 59mpg, and I wasn't even taking it that easy

Good to see you there m8, sorry we only had time for a couple of words in the pub.

You really should have caught the crowd sometime Saurday. there was a spare seat in Sliders car, as usual

Cool

DW,

the road through Rathmell, Wigglesworth, Copy Nook etc. was great, but i nearly missed it as i haven't been that way since the Settle bypass was built!

Today i had a fun run through Slaidburn, over Catlow Fell, Ingleton, Hawes, Bainbridge (excellent pub lunch), Muker, Thwaite and (at last) the Buttercups back to Hawes. Then over the hills to Kettlewell, Skipton, and back to Clitheroe, with enough fuel left to get me home to Brum.

I have had a taste, so when is the next Dales run????
