Well, what a day.
We've arrived at the campsite after a thrilling first day with 14 cars.
Regretably Clarey had an arguement over a piece of road with a Granada and has retired.
MichelleWRX1994 was a passenger at the time and is a little shaken, so we could be in for a quiet night
Lunch in the Sticklebarn Tavern was a welcome escape from the showers but the weather was generally OK, which is a good thing for the Lakes. The Tavern had genourously reserved the upstairs for us, with a widescreen TV for the GP qualifiying. The room was so large we managed to fit in 100 or so bikers who turned up.
The normal Lakes traffic has made it slow progress on some of the roads (when did 40 become the National speed limit) and it seems there are different traffic rules in Windemere
Slider is currently having a whale of a time blowing something up in his tent, answers on a postcard please
The beer is starting to flow so the night will get more liveley later
Will post again if I'm not too drunk to work this thing
Chris

Banshi is that your own patented version of taking it philosophically? If so I would be interested to hear your hypothesis on it.......
And are you having an identity crisis? Why did you sign with my name????

Glad you are taking it so well, made my stomach turn when I drove past, would have stopped but it would have looked worse to plod. Seen the pictures but what actually happend? and why should insurance be a problem? hope you get it sorted and bring it on the Wales trip I had a great time trying to keep up with you on the WCT2, day 2, forest stage. Keep us posted on how it coming along.

No I forgot the video but I'll bring it to the WCT3 along with NCT1 I've got three hours of it to edit. Gem didn't like the forest stage so wouldn't film it as there were some vey high speeds. Your cars on the NM5 video aswell, only in the car park though. Hopefull the campsite we stay at on WCT3 will let us put it on.

I had to use everything i had to hold on during the forest stage so I couldn't film, as the tripod fell over - at least this time I didn't have to film cos it was fixed in properly.
