Thanks to Chris for a great, well planned route, will there be another any time soon, if so count me in now, maybe I'll see the junction next time!
P1 OTT and Puma, I backed off to let you past, honest!
Bob, Fiesta SI
PS can anyone beat £20 of juice for the day including 50 mile drive to york?

Bob.T,
I had about £40 of fuel in my car and only used half of it'ish
Scotty.
PS: I had no co-driver and therefore gave up reading the map as I kept hitting the cats eyes (Sorry RSPCA). I followed the guy in front but he got lost too (red scoob, RIL xxxx) he turned into a petrol station and I was going to stop but thought he would catch us up. I guess he turned around One 20 mile round trip later we found the carpark at Helmsley we had passed half an hour earlier. 15 scoobies in it should have given it away really. No comment

Arrived back in Scarborough with half a tank
left which I reckon cost me about £23 quid or so......
- this seems quite good to me so either my
fuel gauge is broken or I wasn't trying hard enough - or perhaps the Scooby uses less fuel if I drive it hard (although not as hard as clive in his WRX).

Big thanks to Chris, I had a great drive, managed to use 3/4 of a tank of juice, but I was driving in 3rd most of the way! Missed the last meeting place though, did Chris get any footage?

Charlie H,
(edited cos i'm really really bad with names...)
Shame that you missed the last cafe - we
all went our seperate ways from there.
Don't mention the video cam - it decided not
to play when we needed it so our total
footage was about 20 seconds at the start
of the meet.
Julie not re-winding the tape didn't help
mind.
Who was it that had the video strapped in his
car with the tripod - was it Phil and Sarah??
I can't remember - i'm useless with names
Did anyone see what happened to the Scott
the lad with the silver MY00 with the STi
lamp covers - didnt see him at all after
we set off - if we lost anyone - apologies.
See you all next time
Chris C.

CharlieH,
You were at the last stop before we went our seperate ways, I saw you and your sister leave.
Chris,
The guy with the silver 3door sti with the fog covers on was one of the two cars we followed as we overshot Helmsley. He carried on as the guy in the red Scoob (RIL xxxx) turned into a petrol station. 8 miles up the road we turned around back to Helmsley to meet everyone else. I just followed the guy in front as I had no co driver.
Scotty.
PS: Can't wait for the next one

Chris, what a day!!! what a route!! cant wait for the next one.Used about half a tank which gave me 90ish miles, went round corners like a demon,Got bit of footage when i came past and the rest when we followed the group from Malton to Sledmere. Scott left Helmsley to go back to Ripon and get some fuel had a nice chat though, his leather interior was fab!!!! If anyone is going to Well lane on the 18th let me know, not gonna take the car on the rollers though just had it done by well lane, happy with 286bhp,but it'll be nice to see other peoples scoobies!! see ya! Scott, clive,
Ok - Glad that Scott with the silver car
at least made it Helmsley - wasn't sure
if he made it out of York with us as Julie
was saying that she thought he had gone for
fuel and air for a flat tyre.
I'm completely lost as to who everyone is now..
will have to have another meet just so I can
try and remember faces again.
Glad you had a good time Clive - will be
interesting to see your car next time with the
brake upgrade and Eisbach's

Chris,
Concrats - great meet, route, etc
sorry I left early - made it to helmesley - but had to go hunting for more super to get back to ripon - left the octane booster in the garage - dooh!
Looking forward to the next one - do feel a regular "meet" coming on?!?
Also, well done Clive, I would like to present you with "nutter" of the day award - I hear Pete Croney is introducing a 480BHP conversion exclusively for mad sales managers from scarborough!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers all

Chris, It was me with the tripod in the back of the car. First time that I've tried it, camera was a little too high so can't see too much ahead but got a couple of good overtaking shots. Got an hour in total but a lot of it was wasted following a renault five at 35 down the narrow road section for miles from Helmsley. Tape ran out by the seaways cafe so no footage from there:-( (would have made a good clip)
When I figure out how to create mpegs I'll put a few edited clips of the day on the web

Renrag, you don't need to apologies for overtaking me, it was actually quite pleasant, it was the only time I was passed all day though! I couldn't help wondering why it took you so long though, I mean it's only a poxy little 100bhp Ford!
The video didn't come out that well really, the cameraman ( my nan) was complaining about facial injuries and an overwhelming desire to puke! He missed us cover the red Toyota in mud and also missed you come past, doh!

Charlie H,
Ok - would be great if you could get a few
stills on to look at.
TonyM has very kindly offered to send me
a copy of his tape so it'll be good to see
that.
The narrow roads past Nunnington can be a sod
if you get stuck behind summat and they don't
let you past.
Most of the head of the pack seemed to
squeeze past a Toyota Hi-lux thing - once one
gets past they hopefully pull over when they
see 15 Scoobies waiting behind.
See you all at the next one,
Chris C.
