Cool Big thanks to the SMACS!!!

Just got home and we are both still buzzing from the run out,a big thanks to Di (spelling?) Chris and everybody else for making us both feel so welcome.
John and Naome your classic is an absolute stunner and has made me want one and the little Lotus looked great fun!
Hope everybody got home safely and I hope the next run out/meeting isn't too far away, looking forward to next time!!! Hope I didn't slow you down too much!

It's dai, he's welsh, but thats no excuse

Nice to meet you dan, and glad you both enjoyed yourself. You up for the bbq this sunday? Dai's organised a treasure hunt beforehand, so should be a laugh.
See you on the next one if not,
chris. (smacs president and dictator )

I might have to miss this Sunday because I dont finish work until about 1pm so it depends what time it all kicks off or perhaps we could join you later or something.
I am just deciding what discs and pads to buy now because Sunday night was just too much for my already very tired brakes, now they squeak like mad but I dont care coz I had a great time!
You have well and truly converted me,driving these cars the way they were designed to be driven is far more fun than polishing!!
See you all soon
Dan

I run EBC reds on standard disks. The original pads gave me lots of fade on trackdays, but no problems with the reds. They are fine for runs out also, but did squeek a bit after fitting (did them myself) but I think that was due to not enough greece/greek on them.

Did you say you were running PPP Dan? I followed you on the last stretch and found you pulled away so I hope you do. I only managed to get past as I know the road and the fact that you let me. I considered PPP myself, but got 285BHP at the rolling road and thought that was enough for me at the moment. I hear some PPP car comming in only a few BHP over that!

talking about brakes my new ones where superb never faded once, just so much better than the originals.

and yes mine squeak too now

Running red stuff pads and they are really good and just get better the more heat you get into them.
