Where in the north west can do my piston rings for less than a grand?

Where in the north west can do my piston rings for less than a grand?
That's the claim limit on my car's warranty 
Car cut out as I was parking at Charnock Richard Services, it starts and drives but exhaust fumes are puffing out of the oil filler pipe and the engine is bouncing around in there, not good
ScoobyClinic want £1800 for a rebuild which means I'd have to stump up £800 of it myself.
Know anywhere local that can do it for this price and not do a **** job? Liverpool ideally but I don't mind getting another tow.
Need to know for Tomorrow ideally. Also it needs to be VAT registered for the waranty ******* to deal with it, so I probably can't get Julian to do it

Got a phone number or anything? yell.com doesn't know them.
Edit: Found them, but they've had a fire apparently so can't do anything for 3-4 weeks
