As title really. I've just got my Legacy back from having the turbo replaced, and I have a night to myself, can someone point me at some fun (gatso and plod free) twisty roads so I can go for a spin?

I know where the link road is (long straight and I thought pretty dull apart from the roundabouts.
Do you have road numers for the other two so I can look then up?

Last thursday, TBH I can't remember, possibly down south, but I would have had to turn up in a rental ****box as my car was having the primary turbo replaced.
(scoobynet needs a smiley showing pound coins flying out of a wallet and into a car, which I could paste here)

A bit too much of the straightish dual carriageway for my tastes
got to waste a few quid in the arcades at Southport though.
Any nice twisty B roads that go nowhere useful?

Come off the Rainford bypass at the wheatcheaf roundabout towards simonswood - straight down to bickerstaffe then straight on at the church... At the T junction do left, first right then you have a nice run into Aughton down long lane...
End of long lane at the lights go right then left at the school and straight over next roundabout towards Halsall... Some great lanes... I can do the 18 miles to Southport that way in well under 18minutes (Kew Island to Windle Island) that way...
Just multimap StHelens - Southport via Halsall and Bickerstaffe...
TBH The Cheshire Lines roads betwixt Formby and Aughton are a buzz and not far from Switch Island...
Anyhoo - enjoy a blast - but the A570 is littered with plod and has 2 cameras that I can think of and too much traffic for proper fun...
