Astra Stages Rally - North Wales - Sat, 9th April
As above,
anyone thinking of going ...??
the stages are based in Clocaenog forest, near Ruthin, North Wales.
Im thinking of watching stage 3 and 6, or just stage 6 if i have a late one the night before.

Could be up for it Frank - that web page doesnt tell me too much but our kids a big Astra fan with a ltd edition SRI Turbo - now if its newer versions of Astra's getting flung down single track roads for fun then I'll ask him and Im pretty sure he'd be up for watching it in which case we'd follow you down...

Stage 1, (Alwen) has the clubman event starting at 10.40, and the national event at 12.00
Stage 3 (Clocaenog East) has the c/m @ 11.30 and the National @ 12.45
Stage 6 (Alwen 2) has National @ 16.15.
or clubman @ stage 7 (clocaenog mid) @ 15.00
meeting at Runcorn expressway m56 junction, @ 10.30, and Queensferry @10.50

Im only going to have 8 pints tonight rather than the customary 10 + Aftershocks and will be in bed before cinderella turns back into a minger to ensure I am up in time

Just got back - got lost in the hills and slept under a tree last night surrounded by sheep! It was bloody freezing!
Only kidding - cracking day - really enjoyed the drive. In hindsight I was really pleased with how the car performed for its first time out - just took a bit of getting used to.
