Cool SMACS first meet of the month, wednesday 9th feb

7pm, hare and hounds pub, otterspool, marple, stockport, cheshire.
inbetween "dooley" and "lane" on this map
Its been a while since we all got together for a proper chat, apart from the recent rolling road @ prosport so its time to give it a good polish (the car that is!) and get on down to a meet.
Any newcomers are welcome, especially some of you from the rr day.
Hope to see you there,
chris.

I mentioned it to Nev, but I`ve not off him yet.
I would have thought these Subarus are for driving not just turning up at RR shootouts..
Ah well perhaps us three smell or something ....

Delta dash showed 266bhp and 283lb of torque. So on the rollers it should be a bit more as this was only a rough guide.
Feels much quicker and smoother, I took my induction off and went back to a panel filter.
I need a new lamba sensor as we found out when it was being mapped it was knackered. So it should be running even better then.

Need some cheering up after the week I have had!

no worries alan, you missed a very wet and aquaplaning drive though
good drive out tonight. was I driving slow tonight at the front? just that, when I was at the back after the pub stop, I lost you all really easily!
Bit tired though, could have been that

Very slippy out there.. me and Dai had a scary moment at speed, hitting a large puddle on the inside of a bend.... both cars moved but didnt seem as bothered as the drivers.
Nice driving Dai by the way..
Roll on Wales.

I thought you would be overtaking me considering you have 1bhp more than me. Appologies to stu for taking him on the run down into Congleton, but it used to happen to me all the time so I could not resist.

The new car is a total joy to drive, even through puddles! Roll on a dry Wales!

Super I let you go past
Nice drive at a good pace as well, considering it was a bit wet!
