Default Next WYIOC meet?

Not been on-line for quite a while.

Just checking - is there a WYIOC meet this month?

If so, is it this Thursday 16th at the Trading Post again?

Or if not, when is it and where?

Hi Mate. Not Trading Post this Thurs. The idea was to have a 'town' meet as a sort of Christmas do this Thursday. But, there seems to be a chronic lack of interest from a lot of members....

So far, just me, Al, Dave and maybe Sticky and Dazza seem to be around.....

Hopefully this thread might spur some into action.

PS. I think there might be a few places for this Saturday's karting, if you're not booked on that.

The next official meet after that will be the last Thusday in Jan at the Trading Post.

Ian.. It looks like there's too much hapening with works & other doos over the coming few weeks..

We did have the WYIOC Xmas doo in Wakey, but as Chris says, this has gone down like... Debbie in Dallas..

My works doo is this Thursday...... but seeing that you've mentioned it... any one fancy an impromptu pre-xmas meet on the 23rd?

I'm on leave... even if only a frew turn up.. 'that'll be better than nowt lad'.. as Yorkshire people say... don't you...

Yes?

Oh Yes!

I think I could make it for an hour or so on 23rd, just before I don the old white beard and red hat.

Potential for it to be a bit busy with late works do's though?!?!?

Whatever, I'm in.

Slow but sure. Things are progressing but the physio is hard work for her and things are improving slowly which is frustrating her. She'll be off work until end Jan/mid-Feb for sure. We have'nt got in-laws living with us anymore which has reduced stress levels beyond measure

She's getting out and about a lot more since she now has an ankle pot, rather than a leg pot so she'll be at all the meets from now on

Thanks for asking dude...

Chris.. thanks for passing on our best for Helen..

I feel bad not asking how she was earlier... Glad she's on the mend.. anything the club can do.. you know where we are.. (I don't think we can knit.. but everything else seems to be covered..)

Shame you can't make it Ian.. After all the trouble in typing that post out too!

Cheap round for Chris then..

Might be able to make the 23rd - depends how things are at home.

Are you thinking of the Trading Post?

I'm OK for the 23rd, but how come we aren't keeping to schedule ? Thursday 30th is the last of the month (& year) and may be better for some, having most of the festivities out of the way. Only NY to consider.

Dave, dunno! I just presumed that the 23rd was chosen 'cos the 30th was a little too close to other arrangements (NYE) for most?

Soooooooper! Looks like we've even had a new alloy and tyre (saved us another £60 ). They've forgotten to replace the front valance which their tow-truck driver thought he'd cracked whilst loading it : whereas in truth it was done by us ages ago, but I ain't saying nuffin They've ordered us one

Ah ! We're a family again
