I have a couple of routes from earlier in the year we could re-run.
First is Alderly, Mobberly, Tattern, Knutsford, Holmes Chappel and Macclesfield.
Second is Snake, Sheffield and back around to the rollercoaster that is Longnor.
Obviously the first one will enable collection of me on the way

Great run last night. Only got one turning wrong (difficult without the old SatNav to keep me on the right roads) the whole night.
I don't think Barnesy trusted my navigation! After incorrectly answering "NO" to the question "Is there any more junctions comming up"
he never took my guidence again.
Good little route that one. See you next time.

And the tradition remains........
Where did you end up going last night Dai?

Out over Snake Pass (white van man held us up) the up around the back towards sheffield and then cross country to Longnor and round to Buxton.
Came back over Cat&Fiddle but the main road was shut so had to go on the Congleton road, which is a much better road IMHO.
Not so easy in the dark mind, esp without CW and his spots and the front.

Good run out even though there was only 3 of us! Good blast on the way back, on the congleton road, even overtook another scoob!! Just bedding the suspension in, the car feels solid now.
Dai's navigation skills weren't too bad,
"Crest then sharp right"
"Err no thats the next corner, it's easier with sat nav"
"do you always redline it!!"

The rev limiter is there to protect your engine, it is not intended to be used as a gear change indicator.
At least I felt safe in your passenger seat. Unlike CW, you slow for blind brows and corners.

I love the buxton to congleton road, more challenging and lower speeds than the Macc road. Ah days of youth and driving bans. Oh well.

Sounds like the suspension is working a treat then Stu?
