I am Lorna Parsons the Yorkshire fundraiser for Cancer Research UK. I just wanted to send you a huge thanks for your amazing generosity in raising £3009.82 in support of Cancer Research UK at your Northern Big One.

Unfortunately I couldn't go on the day, but our volunteers who went along said that it was amazing, they had a great time meeting so many lovely people.

We really appreciate your support as Cancer Research Uk's vision is to conquer cancer within 2 generations through world class research.

We are the largest volunteer-supported cancer research organisation in the world and we support the work of 3,000 scientists working across the UK.

Our Annual scientific spend is more than £191 million, which is raised almost entirely through public donations. Without the support of people like yourselves our work would stop.
