Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would keep everyone uptodate with the details of last nights meeting.
May I firstly welcome those whose first time it was at a TTS meeting and thank everyone for coming to the meeting.
The NBO was a great success with over 450 cars attending Lightwater Valley on the 13th June 2004. Many thanks to all involved including Glenn from Revolution for sponsoring the Car of the Day competition, Alyn from AS Perfpormance for the raffle prize and to everyone else that had an input into the event. A special thanks to Bryan Holmes for some excellent Aerial photos. Not to mention John Harding, whose slightly insane idea it was in the first place.
Well done to Mickey Owens and Dion Arbid for their successes in the Car of the Day competition.
The big winners on the day where Cancer Research who received a cheque to the sum of over three thousand pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next years event has been booked for the 12th June 2005.
The next mid-monthly meeting will be on Tuesday 20th July 2004 at the Dun Cow. This meet will start at 7:30pm with a Treasure Hunt followed by a BBQ. Cost for the BBQ is expected to be 6 quid a head. If last years is anything to go by, the BBQ will be excellent.
There still is a small supply of TTS car stickers and TTS clothing (polo Shirts) available. Please see me at one of the next meetings if you are interested.
If anyone requires a supply of NF Octane booster, there is some available to TTS members. See Harvey Smith or myself for details.
A local performace specialist is looking for a volunteer 'doner' car (97-00)for a new Autronic ECU. The ECU would be charged at cost price only and would be mapped to suit the car. This ECU is expected to be better than the Link ECU or equivalent. Contact John Pye on 01388 661107 to discuss further.
Next monthly meet is Tuesday 3rd August.
Not forgetting the BBQ on th 20th July
Cheers
Martin
