Default SMACS to the NBO

Ok, so everyone is meeting someone else somewhere for the great convoy to the NBO, and I'm not one to rock the boat so who is up for a South Manchester and Cheshire Scooby club run up?

LIST

cw42

(good start)

Also, when we get there, would it be possible to have some sort of display? Maybe a SMACS BANNER and some flyers to let people have with some contact details on for prospective members?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

chris.

Put me and the family down, we enjoyed it last year. We can discuss banners etc next time we are out, but good idea.

To have a fixed light lol, dont go a smash it on ur run, there is some dodgy loose stones that can put a little hole in ur light, not that i'd know like .

U lot av a good time up there yea, i want some serious pics too.

Bah I cant make it, I'm over in Sheffield for the weekend. Nevermind, have a good time all the same. I should be up for a run in the next week or two anyway in the "cup" (provided it ever turns up at the dealer, at least I now know the registration!).
See you soon.

sorry to hear that graham, didnt you miss last years too?
can I have a go of your clio at curborough?
You wouldn't let me have a go of your scooby last time, so as you've only got a "cup" it will be ok wont it?

your more than welcome blueboy. we have a few members from the west cheshire area.

You stick to the comfort of 4 wheel drive chris, let the real men handle the 2 wheel stuff!

Yes unfortunately I did miss the NBO last year too as I was on holiday. It seems to fall at the wrong time of year for me.

Dave_A, myself and CW42 are going on Monday.

We plan to meet up with the M62/M1 convoy which is on this thread if you are interested.

If you are local to Cheshire (or anywhere else for that matter) then you should come out on one of our Wednesday runs - you missed a great one last night.

Was going to just watch, but when spare places came up I decided to give it a go - only for fun though. Bought a helmet specially (and Curborough of cause!).

Fancy it Andy? Places still left. Bring the race car and see what you can do in the non-scooby class?

Oh, and yes you did miss a blinder last night. A proper summer run with little traffic and great weather.

Right, one week to go and time to make a choice.
1/ Meet up with the south yorkshire, midlands and linconshire crew at meadowhall retail park for 9am and travel up with them.
2/ Same as last year, meeting at charnock richard services on the northbound M6 with the lancashire and north wales crew for 8.30am
It will take around 50 minutes to get to meadowhall and 40 minutes to get to the charnock richard services.
choose your meeting point:
either way meet at usual SMACS place, H&H, then if going to meadowhall meet at 8am
if going to charnock meet at 7.30am.
List so far:

right, as you are all so prolific on the bbs at the mo', I've made your mind up for you
we are going to meet up at charnock on the M6.
I'm in negotiation with johnwrx at the mo' for a more interesting route to the nbo, rather than just doing motorway "A" road there.
so, it's 7:30am start to get to charnock services for 8:30 at the latest.
See you sunday
chris.
