I`ll be just down the road at Melbourne airfield. Going to watch a stage rally there.
You never know, I might just see you on the way there/home.

Excellent day,

Flypast by the RAF Lancaster bomber, spitfire and hurricane was the highlight of the day.

That and the mental motorbike. Was it really 165mph through 1/4 mile?

Cheers

cheers to all for coming, top day , very warm!
straightliners will have the full results out by tomorrow or tues, i'll post them up soon as i get them.
fastest car today was the green nur spec skyline (tims) 11.3s 127mph
top speed- nigel feltham skyline 173mph
nigel also won the head to head shootout final for the fastest cars of today.
the fastest scooby ran 11.7s i think at 120+mph !!!

fastest bike was the one they were testing which did 211mph at the 1.25m and 8.9s 165mph 1/4m, if i remember right.

we have spaces for invite cars and scoobys still for the scoobyshootout at elvington on the 31st may, email me direct if you would like to run at that.
next rwyb there is 4th july!

cheers

Can any of u guys help with some info. I take it all cars are welcome at Rwyb days. Where can i get dates from, and cost. One of the Lads ran his Ibiza 20vt with chip and 25bhp nos shot he said it was great fun and Legal. I think he ran a 0-60mph time of about 5.8secs (not 100% sure) and a 13.8 sec qtr mile and a 143mph 1.2mile time. Any info would be great.

no timing was done of 0-60mph? they timed 0-60ft as usual!

next rwyb is 4th july, entry is £7.50, race cost is £37.50 (not £32.50 i was originally told it would be, making ot £45 all in for the full days fun.)

there are places left for scoobyshootout on 31st may, check www.scoobyshootout.co.uk for details
cheers

I was unsure about the 0-60 thing whether it was ft/time/mph. But the other ones are correct to my knowledge.

I am at Pace getting a 4 core chargecooler fitted on the 3rd of June, and its my Birthday on the 30th of May (31yrs old Booo Hoooo). I dont think i would be in any fit state to drive on the 31st. But thanks for the offer i will deff to take u up on any later dates if places are available. I also have to fund a new clutch before i really go silly but the 4th of July may be a possible one, and then i could do a comparrison later in the year 4th of July 250bhp and later on a 250bhp+50bhp shot of nos. Thanks for the Info.
