YHM back Chris......you're too kind!

By the way, if I don't have time to refit it, I have no interior in the back of my car due to sorting the rear struts and a loose speaker! Its probably louder than your car inside at the moment! Bit lighter too!

See you all tomorrow.

How come youve sold the sport now tony? I thought it was going to be around for a while as the interim car while you moved house.

What have you replaced it with?

Blitz, I finally put my PPP center section and a ScoobySport backbox on my car. Makes quite a difference, and now similar performance to how your old bugeye was. Acceleration in 3rd is almost as good as 1st, lots of fun and not so much lag.

We will have to arrange a run in your direction soon so that you and beefy can come out to play with us.

See you later.

great run out tonight guys and gals, thanks to the staffs & derby lot, for showing us the speed camera attractions around staffordshire
You should of stuck with us guys, we did some brilliant roads around Longnor after you left
See you all for another one soon, and we'll take you on a proper drive out, on roads the scooby revels in.
(and not a speed camera in site )
I can also highly recommend tom tom navigator, as I had the ability to "see" the road ahead, even though I couldn't actually see ahead more than 300yds!
It gave me loads of confidence on the back roads we did, as a lot of them were arrow straight with a few shallow turns, no need to back off at all :0

Yeah another great run out, some great roads especially when Chris took the lead.

On an aside on my way home just leaving the M60 to join the M56 and i see flashing blue lights from an undercover car in my rear view mirror, i thought oh come on i was only doing 80!!!! He was really flying and just went straight past me, it was a Black Impreza Turbo, under cover police car, lucky bawstewards!!

no more than 30 seconds later a Volvo in full livery flies past (cruise set at 85) light flashing, ignore me too Something serious must have been going on somewhere.

And then just before my turn off, cruise still at 85, im over taken by another volvo no lights this time and ignored again. Im just glad i didnt decide to floor it on the way home!!!

So after 5 hours and 187 miles, loads of speed cameras (no flashes), loads of fast B road driving (no crashes) and 3 Police Cars (no pull overs) I arrive home safely.

Great Night!!!!

Sorry I could not make this one, I ended up in North Wales Sunday/Monday exploring the back roads

Chris is right about Tom Tom it really does help you see the road ahead, just a shame it can not warn of slow moving tractors

or slow moving subaru's
radar is the next thing, then I can see the road ahead and whats coming round the corner.
Just got to work out how to patch one of those garage door openers into the military radar installation at leyton heath, then I should be able to fly round the corners with confidence
chris.

ps, mad is going to plan a treasure hunt while he's on holiday over the next 2 weeks!

I just remembered that as I was following Mad home on Sunday, I spotted a semi-naked man attempting to mount his loved one in the back of his Pug 205 on the Pott Shrigley road.

I can only assume his "partner" (if she could do anything other than bleet) would have said "Did the earth move for you?", to which he replied, "No, it was only two scoobies going past!".
