Due to a clash of dates beyond my control (only time we could get the track to ourselves) the FB meet for April will now be held at the Selby Indoor Karting track and a pub nearby (TBD) straight wafterwards.

The track details are listed in the WYIOC News & Forums, but we will be having a convoy there (TBD) as we need to arrive by 7pm for a brief at 7:15.

It appears that most of the regulars will be going, and we encourage all members & anyone else to make their way down here to:

1. Support
2. See Daz & Sticky Battle it out** / Crash**
3. Cheer on the overall 2 1/2 Hr endurance winner.

If you can't make it to Selby, please arrange to turn up at 'The Bridge' anyway, as I am sure someone will want to partake in the food or drink.

I have the names for the Karting (with a few places left for members and reserves) but please post here if you intend to visit either venue so that I can tell 'The Bridge' of likely numbers and arrange suitable Convoy meeting places.

Here to please mate.. Standards? Slipping? I don't think so! Not with all that military training you tax payers stumped up for.. BTW I forget to thank you all for that 5 stay stop over in Oman, oh and that Jolly to the Mozambique reserve, and that trip to Florida for 8 weeks..Plenty more where that came from

Down side is 4 months in the Falklands during t'war, and that 6 week stint in Sierra Leone, which was a bucket 'o' fun.. plenty more of those too.. hey ho... Enough of my Uncle Albert war stories...

As a slight aside, and without making it too obvious to those not in the know...

I'm finding it impossible to get on the wyioc forum, so would like to take this opportunity to ask CB if he can put me down for the future 'you know what' at 'you know where', as I had so much fun doing the last 'you know what' and can't wait to do it again, and would hate to miss out on a place just because I can't post in the relevant bit.

Cue carry-on related shennanigans...

I got an email from the forum hosting company , appologising for the down time sayimg that they were experiencing 1 or 2 problems with their server upgrades

hopefully they'll get it sorted soon, nothing much I can do about it at the moment.
