Question

A mate of mine was in a Traffic Police compound yesterday in Manchester, and spotted two unmarked MY03 patrol cars. They were blue (probably WRX not STi UK - but he's not a Scooby expert) and look completely standard from the outside, apart from additional lights in the grill. Interestingly, he said these lights were clear but would shine blue when switched on. He mentioned both cars looked very low, like they'd had performance suspension fitted, but this isn't in keeping with other police scoobs I've seen. They tend to go for engine & brake upgrades, but leave on the standard suspension to cope with speed bumps at high speed.

He also said the interior was chock full of various bits of police hardware, but that the quality of the install was not very good

Can anyone confirm this ? Sorry if its SIAL, but keep your eyes open and be wary !

Slightly off topic but Cumbria police are getting a stickered up Evo8 FQ300! They've given up on Scoobs after their car has had 3 motors in it.
