Hi Everyone,
As promised by the 'noble' Lord Harding, the 'Raid across the Border is taking place on Sunday 16th November 2003.
Last years event was an incredible event and this years should even be better due to the fact that for the first time in history, East meets West.
Thats right, we in the North East are going to play the those Westies at there own game and meet them on the raid. Imagine the sight, a convoy of Cumbrian and Lancs Scoobs meeting up with the North East boys around the Keilder area.
Its going to happen!!!!!!
If you would like to take part in this historic event, we will be meeting at the Dun Cow, Bournmoor at 11:00am on the 16th November.
Setting off around 11:30am for a 1:00pm meet at Keilder.

Surely you could stretch to a trip up to Keilder.
Don't smoke any **** that day, that should save enough money for your petrol.

Stick the kids in Steve Em`s car for the day, they`ll be too busy sh!tting themselves to cause any bother 
and you`ll get a quiet run out. lol
Maybe you could explain to the dealers how you`ll take your business elsewhere if they don`t do summat about the wheels? worth a shot.......maybe?

there is a couple of changes due to a near incident with a few pheasant and a couple of dears but im sure you will like the 100mph straight !!
there is a new venue for the meal due to the TTS boys coming to see us
i hope more than 2 TTS boys turn up though!!!!as we have scheduled the meal just a few miles from the meeting point

Did you know those Godspeed's of yours are cursed?? Apparantly when Ian Godney was making them he had a little blue wax model of a P1 with pins in it at the time.......
If you are following the Wheels and Brakes thread you can see I have been to the immense trouble of having to ask Ian to make me a set for me...you can save Ian a lot of trouble by letting me have yours and the portal that dragged Sigourney Weaver into the Nether World in Ghost Busters will be closed forever...

stuff for sale that can be brought to the Raid:-
Whiteline front strut brace for classic, dunno about bug/blob-eyes
Hayward and Scott downpipe (wrapped) (DaveW has 1st option)
GGR Induction Kit (bigger k&n cone than the 57i kit)
have Gruppe-S headers and up-pipe but i wont be bringing them, dont think my boot would enjoy having them flying around in it
