Thanks Rich for organising a top day, have to admit Damien's JDM STi has to be best for loads of power with hardly any noise, just a shame it sounds a bit like a motorbike and not a scoob

Rich,
Thanks for organising this.
Did quite well considering I still have the OEM Cat in the downpipe. (trying to convince myself not to take the cat
off)
Now now Jim, I could always slap a BPM backbox on and that might make it louder.
Damian.

Well done Ian, Im impressed. How can you get that extra 9 BHP, 300BHP always sounds that bit better.
And well done to Russ and Nick, and obviously the big boys on the top of the list.
I would have loved to have turned up but I know my figures..218BHP
PS. Ian they have CCTV footage of you stealing the aviation fuel from Speak Airport.

Yoza they have all said the same, am i going to go for 300 BHP ?
But to be honest the car feels great as it is and i could throw a lot more cash at it just to break 300 BHP and i see no point.
The figures i got were with the mods you know about (i wont post mods)and to get 291 BHP with what i have done and spent is fantastic.I'm a happy Bunny now and i know the car isnt stressed to hell.

Cheers Rich
I will sort my boost props out and be back next time
There was a 6 scooby convoy blasting down the M62 travelling in BHP order ( not intensionally, nobody could get passed ZIPPY's grin)

Glad everyone enjoyed it.
I loved that Forester too, looked awesome, especially from the back.
I think with some nice alloys on it andsome lower profiles it would really be a sight to see.
Hope it's on song for the next day, would like to see waht it is capable of.
What engine/turbo is it in them by the way? Is it the same as the pre 97 WRX?
Any chance of posting up an underbonnet shot. I should have looked yesterday, but I was a bit busy.
Cheers

thanks for the good feedback on my "HOT HERSE",
It has the same engine as a version 3-4 WRX 97-99
I'll take some pick's tomorrow
Wheels are a must but as 18"/19" are so expensive, I'm being very picky waiting till I see some I fall in love with(Silver 18"OZ Super T EVO's are my dream wheel but only available in Japan)plus I've not got £1500 lying around waiting to be spent

Palatine,
Good to see something totally different.
When your car was on the rollers from where I was standing the offside rear wheel appeared to wobbling quite a bit as though the rim was buckled. Might be my crap eyesight though .
Hope I am wrong though.
Damian.

stephen, thats the ultimate question. In all honesty they more than likely are on the high side.
However, out of the cars attending i know Harveys(500bhp+) ran an 11.7x 1/4 mile at Elvington for the Scooby Shoot Out, and i(350bhp+) ran a 12.16 1/4 mile at the same event.
So in my eyes, both cars have power on the road/track, and when you see how they pull away from standard(ish) cars, then you can begin to imagine how much power they do actually have.
All in all though, i think the only thing the RR figures helps us for, is to be able to say its got xyz BHP to anyone that asks

My mates (if I can call em that) only got the camera out after I'd ran!! BA5TURD5!!
It's like being the ginger haired step child of a 5 kid family running a Forester

Thanks for a great day Rich,
I couldnt believe My figure of 315, thats 50 bhp more than last time, after a boost controller and a new set of coilpacks.
Had a little bit of trouble with the boost controller to start with, should have got 1.05 Bar. was hitting 0.96 bar and dropping to 0.76 bar towards the top end, but a litle bit of fiddling on the rollers got it to 1 bar throughout.
Carnt wait for the next time.
Thanks again
Mark Shield
