Thanks for the mail simon, and welcome to scoobynet. there are loads of scooby owners in macc, and a few come out of the woodwork on a wednesday evening for a run out.
Andy_s is one of our other organisers of the smacs group (south mcr and cheshire scoobys)
Like he says, tonight is at my gaff watching vids, and finalising the organisation for the weekend run to wales, but hopefully next week we may be out for a run.
Pity you couldnt have come this weekend, you would have got your 1000 miles in easily I think!
Hope to see you soon,
chris.

glad to hear that theres a dfew scooby owners around my area.
would love to hook up next wednesday if thats alright.
it wasnt me that you saw from the tree scoobygav555. lol. i picked my car up today. wednesday 24th.
mines black and the last 3 digits of my reg are NUF
i managed to clock up 87 miles today, thats a total mileage for the car of 89 miles, bombing around tegs nose in Macclesfield and a couple of trips down the chelford road.
trying my hardest not to go over 4000revs but the power band is so narrow and so vicious once you hit 3000rpm in 2nd and knowing theres a lot more to come, compared to my old audi s4 that it hits 4500 to 5000 most of the time.
i just wish i had bought one of these 8 years ago when i decided to buy a an audi rs2. but they wern't around then were they.
cant wait to hook up with you guys and girls, if there are any girls that is.
p.s am planning atrip to my mates inbrighton this weekend to help run the car in. should be able to clock up 800 miles at a steady 3000rpm and be able to book my car in on monday for its 1000 mile service.
if that happens then i'll be able to fully exploit my cars potential
if i apear to be rambling a little its because of the Skunk
hope to cya around

have a safe trip simon, and hope you manage the 1000 mile mark, so you can unleash the beast on wednesday.
bear in mind though, we may all be driven out by then, and quite content to sit in the pub and have a jar!
hehe, then again, maybe not
chris
ps, wales would have been much better for you, and with having to keep below 4000 rpm, you could have kept missyc company on saturday

Hi there si, glad to hear you like your scooby, ive got MY52 WRX which i love even more now that ive finally got a proper exhuast for the thing, sounds mean now.
You would have had a great time in your STI on the mission to wales, take a look at the EVO triangle thread for details but hope to tell you all about when you come along on wednesday meet, keep your eyes peeled for a thread (smacs meet), that meaning south manchester, one of steels little puns lol.
Anyway, its my bed time.
See ya soon.
Blitz.
