22b for sale - info required
#2
Mellow,
It is the one Jabroni used to have. And it does look in VERY good condition, better than the P1 it was parked next to. Any it feels nicely sorted on the road.
Could you mail me any info you have on it please.
Mark,
I did try and stay away, honest

Thanks to all those who have posted, its nice to be back (maybe).
Mike,
The corners weren't the problem (225's give loads of grip), its the bumpy straights where you end up going too fast for the suspension.
Anyway, I've always wanted a 22b, and you only live once so why not. But I've promised myself its not going the same way as my MY99, that was just way too loud. Not that I can afford any mods, except maybe some essentials. Like a Link/Gems purely to make sure the engine is going to be OK you understand

Hi,
Long shot I know but, I'm looking at a 22b for sale and wondered if anybody had any information on it.
The dealer says its from the Newcastle area. It looks standard apart from Cusco top mounts and an induction kit, its 'R' registered with 24k on it.

Mike,
If I get it then I may bring it out for the odd run or two. But I'll be the one at the front, keeping the pace nice and slow, avoiding any stone chips and making sure the road is wide enough for you lot in lesser, narrower Scoobies Note: I didn't say slower as I'm not going to get into that debate, its been done to death many many times before.

Dave gets out and hits Mike with something very large and heavy Just to return the favour you understand.
Sorry Mike, shouldn't be getting at you like this. Anyway you've got ABS so you'd just see me sliding off into a hedge
And now for something completely different - How mad is this, called my insurance company and asked for a quote to change from a GTV V6 to a 22b, and just as well I was sitting down.....It would be CHEAPER.....I'd get a rebate.......Couldn't believe my ears, I asked the guy 3 times if he was sure he was quoting me for a 22b, and he was. I'm taking it as fate telling me to buy it, lets just hope the garage take the same view when it comes to how much it will cost to change.

Lordy,
Have a look at the BRISKoda website - that'll finish putting a hole in your tec 3 pocket
not sure I'd want to get a ride in this cab
Octavia RS ...Hmmmm
