Question

I'm wondering if their are enough Wirral scoobs who would be interested in a meet?

Anyone think of a good venue?

Anyone local please feel free to give me your thoughts.

N.B. My motor will be off the road for the first half of next week!!

You could always join the local fight club (fine young gents in exciting looking novas and corsas, (seriously though there is a couple of nice cars that go, so I'm told)), on a tuesday and thursday night I think it is, at the upton maccys and then on to the rock industial estate which is yet again, yep, another Maccys, mines a strawberry shake! I think there are loads of scoobs on the wirral but you're all shy or got your own exclusive meets.
It looks like I'm going to have to travel to Wales to meet some like minded people, they seem very friendly.

Yes - I'll be up for it (if it's a regular thing or will happen after 2nd Sept), won't have the new car till then and I've just got rid of the Evo so can't even come in that now!

There's lots of open space round Cheshire Oaks - and a few pubs as well, depends where everyone else is coming from!

And there's a big pub by a garden centre just off Jct 5 where I've met people before now.

The Walton Arms, (see up) is in Warrington near Walton hall. Dead nice venue, but then, I am on the other side of the water and its only 15mins from ours. There's a few lads in the Whiston, Rainhill area who wanna go to a meet. Just need a meet to go to

I could be along for that one, coz I work on the Wirral (not Aberdeen at the moment, like the thing says), but if it's going to be in Wales, then I'd have to give it a miss, as I live over in Liverpool...

Any ideas?

Hi Chris you still around........

I've not been on here for while

Blue Thunder it's been a while since I've been on a meet (Chris and I have arranged a couple in the past)
Just pick a day, don't worry folks will turn up, how about an evening run out to N Wales and stop for shandy on the way back??

Im heading of to Ty Croes on Sunday .... im hoping to leave around 8.30am.

If any one is interested in going, on the Welsh forum there is a thread..

sory cant make it a clicky , but its

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=237023

if anyone fancies travelling down, im pretty much gonna be taking it easy going down there.

But maybe, if anyone wants to we could arrange to Meet at McDonalds, top of Aston Hill Queensferry, on the *** between 9 - 9.15am...and then meet up with the others enroute, which is my current plan.

I will leave there at 9.15am.

Anyone interested ... drop your name in below.. i'll know to expect anyone.

Hello Moz hows things? Long time no see M8.

Have you still got that slow ugly bug eyed monster? LOL

We'll have to sort some thing out.Where do you reckon for meeting up?
Down by cheshire oaks? Three staggs is fairly central on the Wirral, any ideas.

The other Graeme is busy putting a lightened fly wheel and other goodies on his beast and talking about a clubman rally car conversion as well.

Hope to see you soon

Chris

P.S. Wheres blue thunder? he started all this and has disappeared.

Should we go for a meet on Wednesday evening (20 Aug) at around 1930? I think Cheshire Oaks is a better option than the Three Stags but lets see what people think.

I've been and had a look at the "Old Hall Inn" at Cheshire Oaks, just by KFC and I think their car park will do nicely!
I don't mind what folk want to do, have a pint or go for a drive or both?
