Hi all,
I am pleased to announce that the SIDC will be at the Donny Show again this year.
We are partnering up with the MLR club again to offer Scooby owners the chance to show their car at one of the years biggest shows.
The Details:
The Donny Show
Doncaster Racecourse and Exhibition Centre.
SAT 12th and SUN 13th April 2003.
The Format: (And difficult bit!!!)
I will require 6 cars (Maybe 7?) to attend.
I will do the same format as last year.
The price per display car (and owner) is £15 for the 2 days SAT & SUN.
However you do not have to go to both days if you do not wish.
We should be able to work it for differnet cars to go on different days, like we did last year.
So effectively we have about 12 places, less those that wish to stay the full weekend.
Does that explain everthing, cause I'm confused
So if say, you want to attend Saturday only it will still cost you £15.
Passengers can also prebook tickets at £20, bearing in mind that it's £15 on the day, but you'll have to que and go in a different entrance to the car.
The camping bit I'm not sure about, last year I think the £15 display car fee paid for the camping, but you'd better look at this yourself. www.donnyshow.co.uk But the camping is down to the individual, I'm not organising the camping sorry.
I have already got provisional cars who expressed interest.
1. Peccy
2. Kev Stephenson
3. Young Ged
Ok, if your interested please post below, indicating whether you want to go Sat or Sun Or Both.
Just to add, it's open to both SIDC and scoobynet members.
Your car doesn't have to moddified, it can be standard.

P.S I'm away this week, so I'm not ignoring people, I'll be back on Friday 28th Feb.

I'll be up there for both days so if you need my car it's yours for the day or both if needed. It's a near standard reddish blue turbo wagon, but who knows by then there should be some more goodies on it!

Hi Craig, will you be sending tickets out or do we just pick them up on the day?
I'm at my folks house just now and won't be back in Aberdeen until after the show so if you are sending them out can you send them to my folks address? Hope that makes sense
Let me know and i'll mail you the address
Cheers,
Richard.

Never been to the maxpower show, but from experience with the Donny Show, It's down to me
No, really, I will be telling the guys that are on the stand to be there for around 8:00-8:30, and I for one will be leaving no later than 17:00hrs.
However, I must stress that getting there early is an advantage, as everybody is trying to get in at 08:00 hrs. Must be a thousand cars trying to get in.
I will be getting there for about 07:30hrs, but I have to set everything up, and start organising stuff before everyone arrives.
It's a good show when the weather's good.
