Andy: Excellent idea. Still on 2 litres and original Ion Performance Turbo. Put me down for in excess of 450BHP. Cannot predict torque at Well Lane but the most recent data log which is consistent shows 418 ft lbs and 423 BHP with a cross over at 5250 and that was on the map prior to Christmas, so another 25-30 BHP are not out of the way.

Can run the car before WL5 and post the results if you want, but if I exceed my targets I think I will move on to something else.

Thanks for drumming up suuport already Andy

It makes all the organisation worthwhile for me when I see enthusiasm like this.

The next Well Lane will be May 18th. I may only be able to do one day this time as Barry told me on Sunday that they are trying to limit the number of RR days this year as they are doing them virtually every week for different clubs and wotnot.

Working 7 days a week all the time must be no fun.

I'll post a thread with a list later.

I can say now that I wont be attending well lane 5.

Next visit to england (as this one has cost far too much) will more than likely be 10 of the best 2.

They need them re-coating with non-slip stuff IMHO.

I thought they had with the 3 guys in the boot, and 2 on the back seat non slip

Question

40 CARS!?!

Since when?

Max 25 cars. 25 X £25 = £625 and you've got to pay 2 guys wages out of that for the best part of 6 hours (on a Sunday too so it's effectively overtime) and then there's overheads on top. Doesn't leave you with much in the way of profit and let's face it, that's why they are there.

You've obviously never run a business, mate

Cheers

Rich

Whether Well Lane make £600 or £600000 for the day who cares..... it's only £25 to each person! They have to make a living you know .

Rich.... put me down for well lane 5. Not going for big power but should have a few significant mods. Whether the rollers slip, or the fan isn't pointing at a TMIC it doesn't really matter to me (not after big power).... the days have always been really enjoyable. I say Well done Rich .

Tony.

BuRR: You are completely out of order making reference to the tax man in the manner you have. Upon reflection perhaps you should edit your post.

No offence taken m8.

Quite ok.

But for the guys at Well Lane, working EVERY Sunday for however much must get to be a bit of a bind. No time with the family etc.
I know I wouldn't want to do it all the time.

Cheers

Rich

Cool

Thought it might be interesting to start an "estimated output"
thread

Trout, David, Pavlo, Adam and more, all promising their 500+bhp builds

I'll kick off with an estimated power of 450 from my 2.0

>>>> next Come on, don't be shy

Andy

Edited to add Adam
