Was chatting with Mellow today, and wondered if anyone has any ideas for a Northern Christmas get together?
Something for all members and partners, possibly sporting, possibly drink/food related, and possibly cheap as chips as well.
So any ideas?

About Manchester North, though we could do something in between, such as York to cater for the NE and Yorkshire groups as well?

Mrs RF and I would be up for this - Daytona in Manchester was great fun last time I went on a corporate day out (prob 'cos I didn't pay

Seems like a good idea DW - let me know what you get sorted m8....
Last w/e in Nov is Bedford, so that counts that w/e out - looks like YOU need to establish a date in Dec

I'll go
Nearer the start of the month is better for me, pay day you see
Don't get me involved organising it though, I couldn't pour p*ss out of a boot with instructions on the heel

Right, Saturday 7th December is looking favourite.
So lets have some ideas folks, and remember it has to include partners, friends etc, and be somewhere in the triangle of Newcastle, Nottingham and Liverpool

Sat 7th is good for me - Leeds is pretty central I think
What about a bit of a tapas (plenty of varied dishes to suit all tastes) then onto a premises with an alcohol and dance licence??

Has the karting opened up again in the Boro - it was always shut when I lived there.
Middlesbrough may be an option - re-live my uni days, plus I have a few mates up there.
