The run is to take place on the 1st September 2002, and hope to get a goodly amount of drivers,co-drivers and.....CARS to make it.
So far the main meeting point is to be MAINLAND SUBARU,WIDNES, this has been o.k'd by the sales manager(Ross Blevin).
Any body coming from north of The Wiggin Tree, can meet up with me at the little chef,just off j3,M58 on the sunday morning.According to AA milemaster, the run from Southport to Portmeirion is 119miles, and takes 2hrs50mins.We are hoping to be at Mainland for about 9.45am.I would suggest that the meet at the little chef, should be no later than 8.45am.This will mean that we will get to Portmerion around midday, be able to have some food, a wander round, a drink and have a "leisurely" drive back thro' the welsh countryside(no sheep spotting allowed).
If this sounds alright, i need to know numbers so that Mainland can organise a butty/coffee van for us in their car park.It is also their day for new registration cars to go out.Ideally need to know numbers by:-17th August no later than 21st August.
