can anyone recommend a good but cheap place to get my bumper resprayed? preferably in Darlo or Sunderland, how much do you think it will cost. the part is removed from the car

Anderson's are very expensive, but they do do a good job, I know a place not far from there called Hunters. They charged me £100 to paint my rear bumper in sonic blue and it was an excellent job

Try Ultra Spray on whessoe road mate, ask for ken, he did my whole front end very reasonable!!

 

I used Panda Panels in Newcastle, very good job and good prices. Don't know if it's a bit far for you to travel though.

 

Just had scooby spruced up by Car Spa, on Teesside Industrial Estate in Thornaby.... did a fantastic job. Rear bumper, 3 panels resprayed, about 20 dents removed, touched up all the chips... for 500 sheets. You name it they do it.... well !

Very professional outfit - I reckon they'll manage the bumper for about 60 - 70 quid.
