Blacksmith's Arms Rothwell
Tuesday 15th July 6pm-9pm 2014
http://www.blacksmiths-rothwell.co.uk/
Hi might have seen me post in the Grimsby section but this is to broaden it out a bit I've managed to secure a really nice pub pretty central To Grimsby Louth and Scunthorpe and all surrounding areas. A mate of mine is going to try get over from as far as Lincoln so even further a field are welcome.
As it says above it's at the Blacksmith's Arms Hillrise Rothwell. pretty close to Caistor
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/...f74359b38b46e1
Hoping this can be arranged to be once a month for members across the region to finally have a place we can meet up. Should be about 5 cars going that I know of with another 2 members hopefully going from here in the Grimsby area
So would be great to see as many cars coming from around Lincolnshire area to meet up and get to speak to a few of the cars I've seen and waved to as I have been driving around
All models welcome be nice to see a turnout of just more than the Impreza's so another mate of mine doesn't feel so left out in his Outback if he can make it
Be greatly appreciated if you can pass the word around to anyone you might think was interested. Thanks in advance

I'd rather see the STI myself but yeah I went on the Tuesday for lunch and it chucked it down could see the water running down the roads lol
So understand either way I'll be going in the scoob and know of another 2 defiantly going the outback is a maybe as he does racing and is at Castle combes that weekend so said he will see how he feels when he gets back
But I did point out will be a monthly thing all being well. I know of a legacy that is going to try get over too from Essex but visiting family up here that week so he's on about coming with his father so all being well should be a good few

I'd say that will be the one I'm on about doesn't live far from there, just down the road from me. I'd love one I hold hope for one in the future but I'd be happy with a hawkeye, just the tax put's me off
And I'm pretty excited and nervous that seems to have started the past few days of not a lot of cars turning up
But I even know myself all meets I've been involved with only started with just a few friends using a place to meet up for a drink once a month and got bigger. I unfortunately I don't in the imedia surrounding areas of the Blacksmith arms to invite
But word soons spreads. Listed it twice on facebook and on another 2 forums. Only downside is I was hoping to have got my car repairs all done before but will have to wait now until the Wednesday before I start Haha not risking anything to go wrong

Oh nice that's two guaranteed cars to make me jealous then
Well Unfortunately my cars not going to be to great this time. My dining room looks like an Ann Summers for men with car parts and new tyres in it. I wanted to get it all sorted before now but got held up and some parts
so delayed the work getting started and didn't want to risk missing this so will start tomorrow now and should all be done for the weekend and ready for next month

Nice look forward to giving it the jimmy savile look around
mines nothing as glamorous as that new calipers braided hoses disc brakes and pads all round a hub and bearing and may facia surround for the stereo and heater unit. I'm needing to modify it for a screen I have there for an ongoing project
