North Korea left in the dark
I find stuff about North Korea fascinating. How do countries like this still exist in the 21st Century?

Because the world lets it happen. And there is little gain from sorting a country like North Korea out - economically and taking into account political opposition.
Look at Syria, Zimbabwe and all those other rats' nests. Some of them lie very close to home!

...and also in Dudley, but at least they admit that it is to save money and not the eco-bollox "save £500,000 a year on carbon emissions" from Worcestershire.

Still, I like dark nights.....it'll make people realise they are driving on sidelights and finally work out how to use the light switch on their cars
