I hope Sara doesn't mind but in the interest filling folk in.

Im not feeling very positive because the drugs are so difficult with the side effects. I will lose weight and hair and loads of other things. Some people cant get through the treatment and some are taken off because you can react badly and some do not get better. I have the most resistant genotype to treat so its going to be a rough journey for the next year.

 

Maz, that's really sad as I know what she went through with her Mum. Hope all works out OK for her.

 

Aye Chip she's been through the mill a lately. Sara is very unwell and hopefully her treatment goes to plan.

Hi everyone *waves*

I'm afraid its true. Later today i start a really tough treatment programme that lasts about a year. No guarantees but I'm hoping I can get through it. I found out 18 months ago that I was unwell but its taken me this me this long to get my head round it. Turbo said I was mentioned here so I thought I should pop in. Ive only just told everyone what is happening on FB because i know i cant do this on my own.

All them years ago when I asked a simple question about cancer, who would have thought the impact it would have? I know a lot of people were helped by the thread/blog especially me. I dont know if I want to spill my own guts on a public forum but its lovely to know I will have support like I did before.

And for anyone that says its only the internet..... I know you lot are not cyber people because ive been trolleyed on muppet p1ssups, lost my car in an alcoholic daze, Telboys fault and been wasted with a bunch of undatables at various locations....Swiss? Oh and my banana came too. I dont think I will ever escape this place, believe me ive tried. ♥♥

Im a headless chicken today but I will check in when I can or someone will post some updates if anyone is interested.

Thanks again snetters and muppets, im no quitter but this will test me to the limits but hopefully it will be worth it. ♥♥
