Default Citizen's arrest gone wrong.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...-burglars.html

Be interesting to see if he gets off.

The article's is a bit yada yada yada until the "He then attacked Green leaving him with two broken legs and a broken arm." punchline. Nearly pissed myself when I read that.

He then attacked Green leaving him with two broken legs and a broken arm

That's shocking

....Why didn't he break the other arm too?

I applaud Woodman for being so brave and determined. It's about time somebody fought back and gave those scum a beating. It says that the trail continues and I'm sure the judge will let Woodman off and give the thieves a greater fine.

How can it be wrong to protect what's yours and to defend yourself ? It was two against one and luckily this time the one won lol

The law is crazy and so often do we hear of innocent people getting into trouble because of scum who think it's their right to take what they want that they haven't earned !

Criminals should forfeit all of their rights once they begin preparing to commit a crime. If they hadn't been there in the first place, they wouldn't have been injured.

I'll be sending a postcard to Cardiff crown court in support of the owner. The ******* that broke in are just damn lucky they weren't in Florida. They'd be worm food now.

Quite - I heard that Martin shot the guy at such close range, that not a single shot was found in the body.

Took the jury less time (20mins) to clear him than it took me to find the address and write a short postcard in his support. Brilliant result.

Don't blame him for doing what he did.i guess the one thing going against him is that he chased the thieving scum into the next field,I assume property not belonging to him.
Reasonable force again?..thieving ******** deserve what comes to them if they get caught..

A landscape gardener, I'm sure he's learned his lesson - next time don't bother with police, just finish them off and use them as fertilizer.

Somehow, I doubt there'll be a next time.
