Missing 3 yo kid
Doesn't seem very likely to me that a 3 yo just gets up in the middle of the night, manages to fully dress himself, opens two doors and walks off, vanishes?

Not sure he fully dressed himself, it's being reported he only had his pyjama's on and a coat. I can imagine a 3 yo grabbing a coat on the way out because that's what Mum and Dad will say that time of year.
However there's not much fact coming out about why they think this is not suspicious (and how they know he went out by himself). So seems a bit strange to me

First time I'd heard this was this morning on Breakfast News. Both the police and media were being careful with the wording they were using, which makes me think there is more to this than meets the eye.
I wasn't aware of the father angle, but that would stack up.

I thought it strange when the news reader said he was last seen in bed and then a few minutes later said he was wearing a jacket (what to bed?)
Hope they find the poor little soul

Definately more to this than meets the eye, for a start there is a CCTV camera right outside the exit of the flats, they obviously will have already watched the footage and therefore know what they are looking for.
I would assume they haven't released CCTV info for reason.

Look, doesn't better if the child doesn't look very Scottish, it's a 3yr old child missing FFS! Had you read BBC news carefully, you would have learnt that he's from Pakistani origin.
Sorry, edited to say that the child's dad is from Pakistani origin, according to BBC News. >

Really? Then it's possible that he has taken him. Apparently he's estranged husband to the boy's mother.
The BBC News now says that his parents are Asian, and he has four siblings; just in case anyone else wondered why he doesn't look very Scottish.
