Default One for the plane spotters.

If you look up Biggin Hill Airport on google maps & use the satellite view it shows
the picture was taken during the air show.

Red Arrows on the main runway,Lancaster & spitfires lined up at the end.
Some others I can't identify.

Well I like it.

Hi Tidgy,
No not really although I do love the aircraft.I live close by the airport all my life & have attended most of the shows. I was searching locally & it just amused me that it happened to be the day of the air fair. Not often you see an event actually going on in google maps.

I remember at school when I was 11 my friend ,who was a great artist, & I did a project on WW2 aircraft.
The teacher was shocked when we put together a virtual reference book of nearly every allied & German aircraft.

I see the Lancaster, a couple of Spitfires, a Hurricane, a B17, a VC10, two? Harriers, several Typhoons & Tonkas, a Chinook, a pair of Lynxes, the Red Arrows, including the spare, what looks like an ex RA Gnat, and Miss Demeanour.

There are loads more there that I can't make out
