Car internet prices?
Looking to trade my car in for a new Golf GTI with Performace Pack.
Going to see dealer on Thursday to have a second test drive. Want to know what the best online discount I can get, so I can say I want them to knock £XXX off new car.
Anyone know the best websites for good new car discounts?
Cheers.

That's the one I use. The last two times I've bought a new car (in the last three years), I've just gone to the dealer and said 'You need to match that and I will sign'. After lots of umming and ahhing and me walking away I have got close to that price.
It isn't bluff either as I have heard nothing but good from people who have purchased from Drive The Deal.

Broadspeed is the one I used. The BMW main dealer matched the price no questions asked even though I bought the 5 series when it was just released.
As Zip said, are you chopping the R8 for a Golf???

No. Keeping the R8. The GTI is replacing my VW Tiguan. (Daily car)
Was going to go for the Audi S3 so I can keep AWD, but the performance would be too close to the R8, to keep the R8 special enough to warrant it being kept as a weekend car.
Testing the Golf GTD & GTI back to back on Thursday. But as I've recently moved closer to work, I keep having to give the Tiguan (TDI) a run up the motorway once a week to stop the DPF filter becoming blocked.
So going back to petrol engine, and 10,000 miles per year I think the Golf GTI will be a nice fun car to have without it's performance being too close to the R8.

Hiya pal!
Dpf!! What a pain!
I'm no longer with VW, jumped ship in July to Toyota for a better overall package.
Have a look at orangewheels.co.uk and autobytel (owned by inchcape)
Take care!

Yeah, sent you an email a couple weeks ago, but it bounced straight back. Assumed you'd moved on.
